The evangelism unit of Emmanuel Chapel incorporates all worshippers with the mandate to make disciples in all the nations with specific emphasis to Kettering as our jurisdiction. We exist to fulfil Jesus’ mandate in Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”.

Also, as part of the universal body of Christ, striving for the fulfilment of prophecy in Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”, we are positioned in Kettering to bear witness to the Resurrected Jesus. These we execute by carrying out street by street evangelism, “Taking Kettering for Jesus”, an annual event hosted at a strategic location, with the intent of reaching the people outside the walls of the church. We also engage in Church planting and discipleship. We also partner with ministries that share in the same vision and mandate.

THE HARVESTING IS PURPOSEFUL
• Harvesting the souls is not just about evangelism, it is about laboring until they are established and attending our churches where they can be preserved until the final harvest. LK.14:23
• The role of RCCG in this is what is called Vision 2032. To have atleast 40 million people attending service regularly in our parishes by the year 2032.

We continue to press daily believing that from Manchester to London, from Liverpool to the British Ailes, God is stirring us to stand and bear witness even as we pray and wait for the former and latter rain. The harvest is indeed ripe, but the labourers are few and therefore we pray the lord of the harvest to send labourers to the field.
